Karin joined the Bainbridge Pediatrics team in January 2016. She was raised on Bainbridge Island and graduated from the University of Washington in 2004. After working as a Research Coordinator at Harborview Medical Center, she later received her degree as a Registered Nurse at the University of Rochester in 2009. She recently returned to Bainbridge from Denver, CO where she was working as an RN at the Children's Hospital of Colorado. Karin loves getting to know the Pediatric population of Bainbridge Island. She makes a point to follow evidence-based nursing and applies the principles to her practice as an RN. She hopes to continue working in clinic research in the future.
She is thrilled to be back in the Bainbridge Island community, where she resides with her husband, Justin, a Cardiologist with Harrison Hospital, and their kids; Sam, Bodhi and Penelope. On most days they can be found at the beach throwing the ball to their dog, Tess, or riding bikes around town.
